Product Information NexGenPPP® is a specific layer to be used with NexGenIP® TCP/IP Stack. NexGenPPP® is written to mach the Embedded Systems memory requirements. We carefully analyzed the data stream in order to offer the most flexibility to configure the connection and the protocols. NexGenPPP is highly optimized when used with NexGenIP® TCP/IP stack. NexGenPPP® complies with all concerned RFC's. The Point to Point Protocol can be used to operate as a link between a variety of hosts, Bridge, Routers and is often preferred to SLIP. The PPP Protocol is built as a set of features in order to establish a connection then to negociate a communication protocols to secure the data stream exchanged. NexGenPPP® has been tested with the most used RAS. NexGenPPP supports : LCP (Link Control Protocol) IPCP (IP Control Protocol) PAP (Password Authentication) CHAP (Challenge Handshake) MD5 (Encryption) VJ header compression Hayes (Modem Command Set)Processors Supported Programming and porting manuals are included, and specification and implementation guides are available.
