NexGenRESOLV Embedded DNS resolver |
Provides a mechanisism for using named resources |
Product Information The goal of domain names is to provide a mechanisism for naming resources in such a way that the names are usable in different hosts, networks, protocols, and on the Internet. From the user point of view, domain names are useful as arguments for a local agent called resolver, which retrieves information associated with the domain name. NexGenRESOLV offers a so-called DNS resolver. It is a set of functions that can be used by NexGenIP®, NexGenMail, NexGenIMAP4, and NexGenSURFon® NexGenRESOLV supports multiple DNS (primary and secondary) and maintains an internal cache with TTL expiration time. NexGenRESOLV is able to query the information either in polling or RTOS mode and is totally configurable. Please check the supported architectures. More features can be viewed following this link. Some technical papers can be downloaded here. Documentation Programming and porting manuals are included, and specification and implementation guides are available on request. A test suite to stress your port is supplied. Licensing Source code or binary library Royalty free |
